Razi's short films have been officially selected for some major international short film festivals. In particular, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival 2015, Festival du nouveau cinéma, Montreal, Canada. Glasgow Film Festival, Glasgow, Scotland, 2015. He also won the award for the best experimental film from the 35th Tehran International Short Film Festival and the 7th Khorshid film festival.
The works presented at Glass Box Projects by Razi focuses on the subject of immigration in hopes of a better life. The first time presented in the gallery space, "WALL COVERINGS" highlights a very specific time in Iranian political history. In 2009, after the presidential election and the mass protests in Iran, many young Iranians decided to leave their country. In the eyes of a great number of Iranians, the result of the presidential election manifested the loss of hope. In "Not Being," Razi is looking at the same subject through the lens of a camera. In recent years, sociopolitical circumstances have increased the rate of emigration, making separation a routine in daily lives. This film attempts to examine the experience from the viewpoint of the person who stays behind. Being perceptive of life around him, Razi’s work magnifies the intricate everyday events that have been normalized in contemporary Iranian society. "Not Being" was screened at Festival du nouveau cinéma, Montreal, Canada in 2019.
